The intensive overall fracturing technology of Jilin Oilfield has enabled the old oilfield to achieve new energy production.

On January 5th, a reporter learned from the Oil and Gas Technology Research Institute of Jilin Oilfield that the Jilin Oilfield's intensive overall fracturing technology has focused on the capacity building of conventional oil, precisely exerting its technical support role, and achieving a new breakthrough in the capacity building of old oilfields. Up to now, the Jilin Oilfield has applied this technology to conduct fracturing operations on 448 wells in a year, with a success rate of 98%. The average daily oil production per well has increased by 21% compared to the design, and the project's conversion rate has reached 100%.
The secondary development of the low-permeability old oilfields in Jilin Oilfield faces multiple challenges such as complex injection-production patterns, high water cut and high recovery rate of recoverable reserves, resource scarcity, and high investment for a million-ton capacity. In response to these issues, the Oil and Gas Reservoir Modification Technology Research Center of Jilin Oilfield established a new well capacity construction project team for conventional oil, and focused on the research and development of the intensive overall fracturing technology.
The project team innovated the working mode, jointly worked with the research institute, geophysical exploration institute, and various oil production plants, and repeatedly sorted out and optimized the work process in multiple batches, closely monitoring the key links of the construction, achieving seamless connection in all links of capacity building. In the fracturing operations of major projects such as Xinli Large Platform, Haituozi Large Platform, and short horizontal well platforms, they have successfully completed multiple heavy tasks including the formulation of fracturing process technology routes, optimization of process parameters, and on-site technical guidance, driving the quality and efficiency improvement of capacity building through technological innovation.
During the technological research and development period, the technical team also actively built bridges for communication and cooperation with universities and research institutes, facilitating the rapid growth and talent development of young scientific and technical personnel, laying a solid talent foundation for continuously breaking through the technical bottlenecks in the development of old oilfields and promoting capacity building to a new level.
